Innovations at Domotex

Since 2012 the world’s leading trade fair for floor coverings Domotex has presented a selection of the most innovative products »Innovations at Domotex« in cooperation with Stylepark. A jury, assembled around product designer Stefan Diez, selects the most convincing products which are showcased in three large areas and a separate stage, this makes it easier for visitors to gain access to the new products. Guided tours and talk panels provide an additional opportunity to discover the highlights of the fair.

Abc&D has been responsible for the event’s design since 2013 and developed a modular design system that can be used in print, web, and space in a scalable way. We created the Innovation Area’s graphic presentation in collaboration with Stylepark and the architects Jürgen Mayer H. and MATTER. The innovation’s print and online guide and the Stylepark newspaper allow the event to communicate with its customers through the same eye-catching design. The Carpet Design Award, which honors the best handmade carpet design of the year, was integrated into the concept via a consistent color scheme and design.
