Reframing Authority with Clarity: Lentze Stopper is one of Germany’s leading law firms in the field of sports law. With its long-standing reputation and international clientele, the firm had outgrown its outdated, somewhat conventional appearance. The goal was to create a visual identity that reflects its standing as a market leader—serious, contemporary, and unmistakably rooted in the world of sport.
The redesign retained essential brand elements such as the established wordmark and a (reworked) signature blue, while radically modernizing every other aspect. The new design combines confident typographic contrasts—a bold, condensed sans serif paired with a classic serif—to convey both authority and energy. A distinctive illustration style adds an independent visual layer, setting the firm apart from the corporate uniformity typical of the legal sector.
The new identity extends across all brand touchpoints: corporate design, website, sales materials, stationery, and brand guidelines. The website, as the firm’s primary communication platform, was reimagined as a contemporary, content-driven interface that speaks directly to clients in sports, business, and media.
A unique photographic language underscores the approachable side of the brand: portraits that feel editorial rather than corporate—authentic, confident, and human. Together, these elements form a visual system that repositions Lentze Stopper as a modern authority in sports law: grounded in experience, defined by clarity, and alive with character.
